Writing a Book Proposal
Course Description:
In order to get a book published, most authors are first required to write a book proposal. There is no standard book proposal in the industry today. Different publishing companies have their own book proposal templates, and most of these companies only receive proposals from book agents rather than from authors directly. It is thus all the more important for an author to produce an excellent book proposal that stands out enough for a publisher to risk purchasing the author's manuscript. This course is for students who want to learn about book proposals and sketch one in preparation for submission.
